Note: There are certain medications that have no known herbal substitute. It's a good idea to investigate ways to stockpile required medicines. Your doctor may be able to help. If you don't feel comfortable bringing up Peak Oil, you can mention other concerns, such as natural disasters (Katrina), terrorist attacks, etc. Be careful - there may be legal ramifications for storing large supplies of prescription drugs.
